Sarah Voigt Sarah Voigt is no stranger to the tennis courts. She's a member of the Bayou Women's Tennis Club. Sarah won the Women's Doubles in Atlanta and the Mixed Doubles in Houston. Sarah hasn't been to a GAY GAMES event. She says, "Amsterdam is going to be a way cool time. Fun with my friends, playing tennis, exploring Amsterdam." Sarah has visited Paris, France, but this will be her first visit to Holland. But for now it's "play, play, play." Sarah works very hard to keep in good form. She's training with a United States Tennis Association (USTA) team. As for her vices, she says, " Spices!" Sarah loves spicy foods. " I really am a pepper-addict." Sarah's favorite color is ecru.

Deborah DeBram Deborah DeBram has high expectations for GAY GAMES V. "I'm bringing home the gold!" She started playing tennis in college and, ever since, it has been tournaments and playoffs. She's been a member of the USTA for 14 years and has belonged to the Front Runners for 6 years. She keeps fit riding her bike and playing tennis at least 4 times a week. Deborah has several role models - Martina Navratalova and Pam Shriver. Deborah looks up to Martina "because of her determination and commitment to physical health." Deborah loves pasta as an energy food and loves picnics, "especially corn on the cob." When she isn't biking, running or serving up tennis balls, Deborah co-chairs TEAM NEW ORLEANS. She and Warren Woods are tireless leaders taking 60 athletes to Amsterdam. She speaks some Spanish, some French and has made a trip to England where she spoke some English. Deborah hasn't visited Holland, but she expects it " to be very quaint. It will be fun playing tennis and meeting people." Her favorite color is red.
